DEPARTURES ON TUESDAYS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR (UPON VARIATIONS AND FORCE MAJEURE)

PROGRAM

 

1st DAY Arrival at the airport in Naples and meeting with tour leader/interpreter. Transfer by bus (included in optional transportation service) to ***/**** hotel in Naples/surroundings. Accommodation in private rooms, dinner and overnight.

 

2nd DAY Guided visit for the whole day, starting from the impressive historical buildings of the City Power: Castel Nuovo (Maschio Angioino) and Palazzo Reale overlooked by Piazza Plebiscito, S. Carlo Theatre (outdoor), then the elegant roads of Neapolitan shopping: via Chiaia and via Toledo. Neapolitan pizza-based lunch. In the afternoon, the tour continues towards the old town centre: S. Gregorio Armeno, the street of the nativity-scene’s centuries-old tradition and Underground Naples, in order to get a different point of view of Naples from its bowels. Return to the hotel, dinner and overnight. 

 

3rd DAY Guided tour to the sea city: Mergellina, Borgo dei Marinai and promenade with a spectacular view on Naples’ Gulf and the volcano Vesuvius on the background, a Naples’ postcard. Lunch in a typical restaurant seafront, with a typical Neapolitan music accompaniment and dishes from Neapolitan maritime cuisine. In the afternoon, visit to another important Castle: Castel dell’ Ovo, location of the most important historical events for the city. Transfer by bus (included in the optional transportation service) to the hotel for dinner and overnight. 

 

4th DAY Breakfast in hotel and departure by bus (included in the optional transportation service) for an excursion to Caserta. The program involves a guided tour of Caserta Palace, a spectacular example of the 18th architectural style of the great architect Vanvitelli and symbol of the Bourbon dynasty power, second only to Versailles Palace, to which it is inspired. Visit to the Royal Apartments and the huge Garden with Fountains. In the end, departure for Caserta Old Town and lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon, walk to Caserta. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

5th DAY Breakfast and transfer by bus (included in optional transportation service) to Naples and departure with a scheduled flight for the return. End of services.

• Supplement per person for flight from airport of origin to Naples, payment within 60 days from departure (hand baggage only): €180,00

• Supplement per person for every more night: €80,00

• Supplement per person for transportation by GT car/minivan/minibus with driver available (max 9 hours per day) for the whole tour: from € 257,00 (based on a minimum of 2 people paying) to €112,00 (based on a minimum of 15 people paying)

• Supplement per person per night with single room accommodation: € 25,00

• 10 % discount for 3rd person with triple room accommodation

• 20 % discount for 4th person with quadruple room accommodation

• Tour leader for the whole tour (only with a minimum of 15 pax)

• 3 lunches of which 1 in Caserta (meat-based) and 2 in Naples (1 fish-based)
