PROGRAM

 

 1st DAY Arrival at the airport in Bari or by bus. Meeting with tour leader/interpreter. Transfer to the hotel, dinner and overnight in Bari/surroundings

2nd DAY Breakfast in hotel and departure for Bari. Guided tour of the city: the Basilica of S. Nicola, the Ancient Burg and the Suevian Castle. Walk downtown for shopping in the elegant Spagna street. Lunch in restaurant. In the afternoon, departure for Polignano a Mare to pay homage to the beauty of this place. A unique inhabited area, perfectly integrated and eased down on spectacular natural caves that are immersed in a crystalline sea.

3rd DAY Breakfast in hotel and departure for a visit to Trani, the city museum. You will suddenly feel enchanted by the image of the Cathedral on the sea, but also by the whole ancient village, the Jewish quarter with its four synagogues, the three-quarters-on-the-water Suevian Castle, the noble palaces overlooking the harbour, the ancient Churches and the Courthouse, they make this city absolutely unforgettable. Trani was built with the rosy stone of its own subsoil. a colour that remains in the eyes of the visitor. Lunch in restaurant downtown. The tour continues for Barletta, the city of the historic “Disfida”. You will see: the Gotic Church of San Sepolcro flanked by the Colosso, the Duomo, the city museums, the Castle. Return to the hotel for dinner and dinner and overnight.

4th DAY Breakfast in hotel and departure for Matera, a unique city and not by change the European Capital of Culture 2019 and beginning of Sassi guided tour. Visit to the typical Casa Grotta and to the typical craft shops. Return to the hotel for dinner and overnight.

5th DAY Breakfast and transfer to Bari apt for the departure by plane or by bus.
